    I would give this dentist office 5 stars because honestly the dentist Marc Allred and his assistant judy and sarah (i believe are their names) are seriously awesome. From dentistry to customer service. They are thorough and understanding which is what you want in a dentist office. I am fairly a new patient still (less than a year) and I came based on a family referral and I love supporting family/small businesses. With that said. Today is the day where I definitely will never return because i believe one bad apple can spoil the bunch. Long story short I stood at the checkout counter for 15 minutes without any sort of greeting. After 15 minutes of silent treatment I'm told that I owe without any explanation as to why I owe. Then I stood for maybe another 15 minutes as they searched through a few binders where they keep bills!? (I'm assuming) then after a phone call to my insurance they have a reason. After explaining the reason, which is their fault for not sending in the bill and never making eye contact, the rude MA sticks her out hand out says my copay amount never apologizing for the inconvience. I kid you not it was the rudest I've ever in my life been treated by a medical facility...ever. So after I gave them a piece of my mind (what do you expect I just had two fillings, I'm drooling, my mouth is numb, and was treated like crap) I know I'd never return which is unfortunate because the doctors are amazing unfortunately the MAs (the customer service) sucks.

    I haven't had a very positive experience with Allred on the business side of things. They were not upfront about the services they were providing me and I ended up being charged almost $600 for elective dental work in my children's mouths, coatings that insurance wasn't going to cover. It took months to even get an answer as to why I was being billed almost $600. I couldn't get a call back from their business agent. They just sent it to collections without ever answering me. It wasn't until the business agent was in a car accident and Allred's wife had to step into her position did I find out what the $600 was for. They didn't explain on the day of the services that insurance would not be covering it and that I'd be paying that exorbitant amount of money on baby teeth, but being that I signed the treatment plan, I was responsible for the debt, so I paid the bill. It didn't have to go to collections. I just needed an answer as to what I was paying for. The business agent would never return my calls to explain and I wasn't forking over that amount of money if the insurance company was actually who they needed to contact. I paid the bill the same day I got the explanation and all collections were supposed to be stopped immediately. Now, over a year later, the business agent is back at it--or perhaps not at it. My credit has been hit for the exact same bill that I paid in July of 2016. It is October of 2017. That's just bad business. I called and explained the situation. She began to tell me that she was out of the office during that time and would have to look into it. I told her I knew that, and it was because of the car accident and that I paid the bill with Mrs. Allred who filled in for her. I remembered all the circumstances from over a year ago, so she had to know I was on top of this. She assured me she would get it taken care of, but the collector still calls me daily regarding the issue. Luckily, the original collection agency is working with me to get a paid in full letter sent to clear up what Allred Dentistry's business agent has so poorly handled. I won't be going back. ...And this is just the business side. A fellow PTO member at the school was made to stand outside with her children, even once business hours had begun, because the receptionist refused to open the door. When my friend tried to address the issue, they excused their employees behavior saying she just doesn't feel comfortable around black women and was there alone. Side eye? Disbelief? I understand. It sounds crazy, because it is, but sadly, it's true. There are more efficient, more forward thinking offices in the area to patronize. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
